About Me

Cindy Wilson: I am a former middle school English / Language Arts teacher who completed my career as an associate professor of teacher education and Department Chair at the University of Illinois at Springfield. I have recently retired, and as part of this new phase of my life, I have vowed to get back to blogging, an endeavor that I undertook nearly ten years ago. I'll be documenting my life as a reader, weeder, and every other label i can slap on myself as I enjoy getting back to everything I could not do while I threw myself into the career I loved. I will always be excited about teaching and learning, but I am also fascinated by what happens in nature, whether or not that refers to things that make me happy or things that make me feel creepy.
